geometry tents

In Te Waka Oko for maths we did geometry. Our main goal was to make a tent out of a hand full of tooth picks and a pastel sized piece of clay. Most of us had problems with the tent being stable. While I was making it I was having hard times with the weight on one side and the other. I felt proud of my self because at the end it was standing it only took me like 7 times to do it anyways. At the end someone told me it looked like a house more than a tent. If you want to see more of my post just come back on anytime you want.

It was really was hard because I had to get the right amount of weight on each side
I found out if one of the sides structures were not strong enough it fell over so I had to put more clay on it. As you can see I made boxes and 3d triangles those were the shapes that I made in the process.
Evan doe it was a struggle i had fun doing it.
