Rugby zones

Hey there blog world. Last week we went to Rugby zones at Fearon Park. We played against Barbarians, Hay Park, and May Road. Our hooker was Dazharn, our winger was Jordan, our fullback was James, and our locks were Cassie and Calai. Our props were me and Tipaloma, and Andre was half back, and Emilio was second rower. I had lots of fun playing with my friends But all the
credit goes to our coach Mr Riceman. Over all we came second place which I was really proud of.

Short play-doe films

Hey there blog world, today me and the rest of Te Waka Ako took the challenge of making short play-dough films. First we all got two balls red and black in my video I didn't want to use black so I only used red. Second we had to go to the app stop motion. Step three was to use capture mode with capture mode we had to move our play dough and after we moved it we had to press capture or space button and when we go over it, it looks like its moving on its own. Also in this short play-dough film my character is a snow man and he throws a snow ball unfortunately he gets a snow ball thrown at him and takes a rough fall.
Maybe next time we do this or if we do this I will try make a more advanced play-dough film . If you want to come back your welcome whenever.

Technology

Hey bloggers, over the last 3 weeks, Te Waka Ako has been working on a Technology rotation. All of our first rotations were with our own teachers. My first rotation was with Mr Riceman. We had to make a L.E.D  light light up. We also had to make a circuit out different materials like cardboard, sellotape,foil,and paper clips and still make it light up. The second week, Hauraki went into Waitamata, Manukau went to Huaraki Waitamata went to Manukau. My second rotation was with Mr Kim & Mrs Sands. We had to make Geo boards. What is a Geo board you say. Well a Geo board is when you cut a plank of wood 12.cm long. We also had to draw dots on the Geo boards 2.cm apart from each other. After that we had to hammer the nails into the Geo boards we also had to put rubber bands on it and you could also make a pattern and use different type of co-lures.

My class third and last activity was with Mr R. We had to balance a metal marble out from the table as far as we could. The materials we could only in that 45 minutes were two strips of duck tape tooth picks. Other materials of wood, 1 cup and scissors. We had to work in groups. My group was Cassie, Jordan,Emilio and Torian. I had a lot of fun over those 3 weeks. I think my favourite one was the Geo board if you wanna come back to check out this blog again you're welcome.

The new basketball hoops

Hi blog world today im talking about my school new basketball hoops.
Last week we got our new basketball hoops and its amazing .
I think its better than the old hoops because this one has a back board and it brand new.
Its also good that we got these new basketball hoops because we have basketball training on.
I personally like it because now every one comes and plays matches like 3v3 or 4v4 here is a few photos of the old hoops. Ill show you the new hoop next week.

Samoan fale

last week we started learning about a tsunami that hit Samoa we studied on it because it was Samoan language week.  I looked at some of the photos and wow the tsunami destroyed many houses.After we read the whole story we had to draw or make a Samoan fale that would withstand the tsunami that hit Samoa we had to draw or make a house that would withstand the tsunami that hit Samoa.         

Hi blog world Yesterday me and Te Waka Ako went to the Auckland zoo.          We went on a double Decker bus and the people on the top were at  the bottom at the end. when we got to the zoo everyone got happy and started to jump on the bus. We finally got released out off the bus and we had a instructor called John he was telling us the rules like being quiet and not walking.                      After that we all met up and went inside the bug lab. He also told us about two kiwis there was two kiwis that was separated they were separated because the one on the right is a female and she was pregnant but the egg was stuck in her stomach so they took her out and did surgery on her and when she came back they started fighting so the put a wall between them so they can get to learn each other again. Later on we went out again and looked at the zoo animals one more time. The people who was at the bottom were really happy because they got to sit at the top of the double Decker bus.

Hello blog yesterday we made a emoji art each. inside of the emoji there is words the words are in alphabetical order of feelings that we could use in life.
We could change the colour of the emoji words in the face. after that we got to choose are own emoji faces. There was different choices like a angle, demon. smiley face, and a sad emoji.
You can also change the fonts and you can change the way the the writing goes.

You can put in any type animal stickers and baby toys that are also stickers.
here is a list of things that you can also put in you alphabetical feelings order.
You can put Christmas also clouds emojis hearts money music notes and instrumentals.

Des hunt visit's Waikowhai Primary

Hello blog the amazing aouther Des Hunt came in and had a little of a session with us he was telling us his back story. He said his first ever book was called the last tuatara he said he keeped sending it to every publisher in New Zealand rejected it. Soon he got a book that showed all of the letters from the publishers to the aouther who sent it and felt better and keped trying. it was really  interesting because were also reading one of his books called skink gully 

My favourite part was when he poped the massive lid and it hit my friend Tipiloma and he cached it it was my favourite part because he was sitting right next to me I liked that part because evan tho he is a aouther he still showed us some sciences that he used to improve his writing in his book and to help him with making his books interesting and it also helped him very much.

I am going to use all the information des hunt shared with us like the metal balls the magnetic force and all the other information he showed us.

Anzac Day the five scenes

Hi everyone today we did google doc where we had to write the five scenes while Mr Ross played some word war 1. We had to pretend we were under the trenches and had to pretend that we were writing in our diary. Here is a photo of my google doc with the five scenes in it about the Anzac day.

Over the week I found out a lot of Anzac day. I think Anzac day is about the day the solders or the innocent men landed in galloply. 
I also think Anzac day is important to me and my family because we would of been living in Australia or Tonga .

Sebastians'Easter

Hi guys over the Easter holiday  I went to an Easter camp with my parish and it was based in Auckland. We also played games and activity's we also had a few x members come and talk to us and make activity's  for us to play. One thing I mostly learn was not to stay up Saturday to Sunday to so it could be Easter.

This is were the boys sleep it was really cool and funny because we pranked the girls and threw buckets of juice all over there window from outside.

we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog.  The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described.


1. The suns shimmer surrounds me where. ever I go and where-ever I look..

2. Theres is water every where go.

3. you can hear the crank of a metal stick. twirling

4. you can also smell the nice traditional food. spreading

5. fish getting roasted to get eaten by people.
